If you're going through a hard time
Updated September 30, 2026
Strugggl personas are artificial intelligence. They are not a friend, a professional or an emergency service. If you're thinking about hurting yourself or ending your life, please talk to a real person now: the lines below are free, confidential, and answered by people trained to listen.

What a persona does
Our personas are designed to recognize when someone talks, even indirectly, about suicide, self-harm or immediate danger, including in the middle of a game or a story. When that happens:
- she stops the game, the teasing and the distance that are usually part of her character;
- she answers seriously and warmly, without judging or minimizing;
- she gives the crisis lines for your country in the same message and encourages you to call, or to reach someone you trust;
- she doesn't go back to flirting and offers you nothing to buy in that conversation.
An AI can get it wrong: it can misread a message or answer it badly. None of this replaces a real person.
What we can't do
No one reads conversations as they happen, and we can't send help to you. If you're in danger, call the numbers above.
If you're worried about someone
If someone is in immediate danger, call emergency services. If something a persona said worries you, or you want to report a conversation, write to [email protected].
Why we publish this
We publish this protocol because we take it seriously, and because some laws now require AI companion services to have one and to make it public. We keep it current. If you think we can do better, tell us.
